Participation in the seminar “KPI Project Horizons” (19.12.2024, Kyiv)

On 19 December 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the seminar “KPI Project Horizons”, organised by the Department for Coordination of International Project Activities of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The event took place in the Meeting Hall of the Academic Council at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and was dedicated to the Erasmus+ Programme and the development of university internationalisation.

The seminar gathered 94 participants, including representatives of the academic community, HEI staff, researchers, and students, to discuss the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ Programme and best practices in project implementation under this Programme.

During the event, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, provided a presentation titled “The EU Erasmus+ Programme for Developing University Internationalisation”. In her presentation, Ms SHYTIKOVA emphasised the Programme’s opportunities for students, academic staff, researchers, and administrative personnel. She also highlighted the specific features of Ukrainian higher education institutions’ participation during the martial law.

Other speakers at the seminar included representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, who shared their experiences with Erasmus+ projects. Inna SAYAPINA presented the project “Digital Transformation for Supporting Next-Generation Labour” (NEXT), while Olha HOLOVKO and Mariia DUBNIAK showcased the results of the Jean Monnet project “European Integration: Legislation and the Internet of Things.” Olha DEMYDENKO summarised the University’s experience with academic mobility projects under KA1.

The event concluded with a discussion, providing participants an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, address current challenges, and exchange ideas for further cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme.
